Oklahoma City continued their homestand as they took on the New Orleans Baby Cakes (Miami). They are seriously named the Baby Cakes because that is what happens when you allow the fans to vote for a new team name.
After coming off of a sweep of the Round Rock Express (Texas), the Dodgers continued their winning ways with a 10-3 win.
Powered by the bottom of the order, the Dodgers raced out to a 6-1 lead by the end of the fifth, lead by Donovan Solano with a bases-clearing hit and error to account for 3 of the 5th inning runs.
The Baby Cakes made it interesting, coming within 3 before Henry Ramos unloaded an 8th inning grand slam for his fourth hit of the game and 5 RBI. This win puts the Dodgers at 6-1 for the season and is their 5th win in a row. They continue their 4 game series with New Orleans Saturday. First pitch: 7:05.
